At least 90% of 'racism' is stereotype formation, which is a basic, normal, and broadly functional cognitive process, so it isn't ever going to end unless sentient life does -- and the disappointed revolution keeps escalating.

It's a question of broken windows. Criminals will always kill criminals. When cops are allowed to kill with impunity it opens a potential floodgate of police brutality. It needs to be disincentivized.
Or to put it in the most racist way possible, we should have higher expectations for cops than we do for the average black person.
