Part of the MAGA rump is congealing around "a storefront owner got beat, this is the red terror, we must slaughter and torture millions of leftists to assert order" narrative -- it's critically important to leverage ideological cracks and disrupt their capacity to build momentum.

Part of what's happening now is the situation is changing too fast for the FOXnews etc propaganda apparatus to keep up. This means a ton of boomers with only *light* brain worms are confused and pulled by conflicting impulses / reads of things right now.

I've been strongly encouraging people to lean into the contradictions inherent to all the libertarian rhetoric the far right has draped itself with. Because the simple reality is a LOT of conservatives hate the cops too. They're dipshits who value malls over black people, but...

There's a number of really potent counter narratives to push on public forums where normies are testing the waters (the local news comments etc): Compare the cops and Trump to state communists. Speak of liberty versus tyranny. Make comparisons to the American rev. etc
