I understand that human life is more valuable than property conceptually, but I think I'm too autistic to understand it intuitively. Any breeder can give birth to a litter. But like, a television is the culmination of innumerable hours of labor, scientific and engineering genius.

Fair point, but they're exceptions rather than the rule, and our ethical considerations tend to develop around the familiar and frequent, and are then retrofitted for the exceptions case-by-case based on those cultural intuitions.
