I think what attracted me most to chaos magick was that it was a purely descriptive metaphysics, with no false moralizing. It didn't say "This is, therefore it is good". It didn't appeal to Stockholm syndrome or to the threat of infinite violence.

Sometimes, often really, horrifying things happen for no reason and destroy virtue, truth, and goodness. But that doesn't make these destroyers a superior virtue, truth, or goodness. It's just a cooler. A bad beat. Life goes on.
