That is, it’s a reaction to being confronted with evidence that shows Jesus rose from the dead. Rather than wrestle with such evidence many prefer to just deny it outright. Or to have such an unjustified degree of “I doubt that” that they never need to face the historical data.
I definitely believe in Jesus. I was a vessel for his spirit for a brief time period in Europe along Valentinian Gnostic lines. I didn't even know anything about Valentinian Gnosticism beforehand, but recognized it instantly as the truth once I read it.
