Evolution is just successive upwards failure. The first microscopic organism that needed to reproduce sexually had developed an incoherent dependency, a weakness. The first animal to eat another animal was probably mentally handicapped.

You're the first animal to ever eat meat. What compels you to do so, in a context where every other animal is a vegetarian? It can only be some horrendous aberration of thought, what amounts to a mental disorder in relation to the rest of your species.
