      The expression "from A to B" means both things are in the same group, nothing else. E.g. "I had all kinds of problems lately, from a sink leak to a car accident". That doesn't mean a sink leak and a car accident are equivalent.

      There's some existential horror in such things, perhaps, but they solve more problems than they cause, as opposed to the "solutions" to them which cause more problems than they solve

          I'm not an expert. Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what's for dinner. Commons problems are econ 101. Incentives associated with ownership promote upkeep. Reading Friedman should be sufficient IIRC. It's been a while so I don't even remember what books to recommend.
