      That using the Gadsden flag's message of "Do not tread on me" to defend anything from slave ownership to landowners is something I'm tired of, and that I'll happily tread over their rights to own other people's live either as or through property?

      Yeah "anything from X to Y" is saying there are many broad vague things such a flag is "defending" From X to Y doesn't mean X = Y If I said "from LA to New York" that doesn't mean NYC is literally located in LA county, it would be a metaphor for the whole country in between them
