CW: electoral nonsense If you could ask three questions of all the Presidential candidates in a debate, and the questions had to have *some* kind of veneer of reasonableness (no "why are you all sociopathic monsters? when do you expect us to overthrow you?") what would you ask?
1) What's your exact exchange rate of human life value across domains of citizenship, wealth and income level, and race (if you have very complex context sensitive exchange rates plz be as specific as time will allow)?
2) Given that genocide is actionable only given certain economic conditions, define these conditions: Would you intervene to prevent genocide on a mercenary basis? That is, if you were paid the dollar amount that crosses the economic threshold?
3) Markets can't solve certain problems. However, states, as ossifications of hierarchies of force, are not particularly well-suited to solve such problems either. How do you intend to make state power functional in this sense and how many people will have to die first and how?
