overcoming this problem is a massive Gordian knot only the hellfires of massive population movement can forge, it cuts the confounding problems of education, jobs, welfare, immigration, and so on, all of which are reaching their end logic but which cannot be overcome... yet

of course, it is completely possible civilization fails to perform the Great Work, maybe no one far-seeing enough is in power to make such decisions, maybe the requisite pressures never realize themselves, perhaps the catastrophes are centuries away, not decades... we'll see

that said, I think this is a definite direction for "research"... how to morph the existing structure into one that suitably promotes high IQ reproduction and, at the least, stops subsidizing low IQ reproduction
