It's "current" meaning is also political, just established by dominant politics. You can't call everything that violates mainstream elite dogma "political" and dismiss everything else as apolitical, that's not honest.

Correlated yes, but not equivalent. When one thing is wrong with a person, it increases the odds that more than one thing is wrong with a person, because the human brain/body are a complex system and it's hard to break just one thing. But I am a gender materialist.
