The corporation as it exists now is basically just a license to generate externalities. Which is fine, in a fuck this world sort of way, but don't you think the price of the license should be more proportional to the externalities generated?

Like, right now we tax productivity and ignore most forms of third party harm. What if we ignored productivity and taxed most forms of third party harm? Wouldn't that align incentives better?
