If I had gone to fight with the Kurds in response to that one 4chan /k/ recruiting post, I would be dead by now, and somehow that feels like the biggest missed opportunity of recent years at minimum.
I wish I could say I'm principled but it's really just in cases where I think it would be interesting or like the people involved. However, I am very amiable in general as well as very bored so that resolves to "most cases" I think.
