I lose ~10 followers every time I post trans shit, in any context, but I don't care. There seems to be some evidence that people w/o sensitivity to estrogen in the womb (and therefore out of it) wind up trans disproportionately. Which sort of justifies the hon=truetrans formula

Agreed on bodily autonomy. There are, statistically, neurological differences in trans people, but I doubt that those can be fully described in terms of "more feminine brain". It's likely a more complicated condition involving perception of self and others.

"Medical need" is also a spectrum. At what level an intervention, or the negative psychological consequences of withholding it, become medically relevant is ultimately arbitrary. Not to say the line can't be drawn, but it has to be clearly defined.
