I guess I don't understand caring about race science. It shouldn't guide policy except along negative lines (ie, the state should get rid of disparate impact), but I can't think of anything else about it that can't and shouldn't just be left to the market.
I know my own IQ, why should I care about group IQ? If I need to know another individual's IQ they should take an IQ test and be treated like an individual. There should never be a time when the ability to make broad inferences is useful.
It's not like ghettos are video game style zones that rob you of hit points when you enter them by merit of collective low IQ, and I firmly believe everyone responsible and mature should practice EDC anyway, rendering even that bizarre possibility moot
I feel like there's this fallacy where the first person to problem phenomenon is allowed credibility for policy proposals about it even though we already know the best policy is generally fuck off and let markets work
