If there is a recession, everyone will want to blame Trump, but this is the longest we've EVER gone without a recession. Capitalism periodically wrecks the lives of the poor so the rich can gamble over ownership of what workers create. Trump isn't to blame, Capitalism to blame.

Let me dumb it down for you, then, since you seem to be the kind of drip who needs it: Capitalism started as an unscientific doctrine. If you want to investigate causes of suffering rather than just blame them on the unknowable, defending capitalism is a poor starting point.
You don't counter unscientific reasoning with more unscientific reasoning. Also, most scientific theories began as philosophy, and the origins of a style of thinking have little to do with its ultimate nature.

Orthodox Marxism on its own isn't scientific, no. But it at least tries to be empirical and is thus an acceptable starting point for science. Which is more than can be said for liberal capitalism, which was created as a purely rationalist ideology and is inherently unscientific.
