i don't mean to alarm anybody but are you aware that we seem to have passed top-down control of our concept of what "mental health" consists of into the hands of the kind of people who go to school and never come out again
You should write a parody novel of "The Forever War": "The Forever School" where a vast bureaucratic space empire keeps sending its best and brightest to school to keep up with managing its colonies but due to relativity they're always out of date on arrival and have to go back.
