Anyone else driven by social-aspirational forces? Like, explicitly thinking “if I create good enough content I might get a chance to challenge Peter Thiel on his Girardian mimesis foundations, and then maybe he would awkwardly fist bump me.” Yeah, me neither.
I fantasize about being a Shadowrun drake working as a faithful servant-totally-not-slave for a Lofwyr or a Celedyr or a Dunkelzahn which I guess is about the same thing as wanting to be the treasured property of a Peter Thiel or Jeff Bezos or whatever. But I'm mentally fucked so

It's not the fame that does it, which is why real world billionaires don't actually trigger the same feelings in me. The shadowrun great dragons are basically pagan Gods in dragon form actualized through the medium of capitalism. That presses all of my buttons.
