Traditional pro-natal arguments aren't going to cut it. The *real* reason to have more kids is that the future is getting astoundingly more amazing by the second, and we're desperately in need of people to help us participate in it.
Once consciousness is cracked we'll just be able to literally conjure infinite people, probably by interpolating human psychology in fictional characters to start with.
