I suppose I don't understand the context. It seems clear that any fixed relational outcomes could be treated as logical properties of either object in the relationship without effecting a given model, and that therefore the whole either/or/emergent game can't be settled this way

Actually on reflection it seems worse, in the same way you can't say that one object's mass is the cause of all gravity it experiences even though mass is here a property that is entirely determinate and largely determinating. Other properties and the relationship itself matter.

I had some philosophical point I thought I could make about all this via measure theoretical probability theory, but it eluded me. Maybe just saying "measure theoretical probability theory" and vaguely flapping my arms will help though.
