Strategy is entropy.
The drive towards optimal strategy reduces the complexity of any given game once all actors are behaving strategically. GTO poker is less complex than exploitative poker, moneyball baseball is less complex than early baseball, etc.

That seems more like an effect driven by something like ‘meta-game’ structure/constraints than strategy per se, maybe? Or forces pushing towards institutionalization?
