Even if they aren’t successful super valuable. At Stanford, we’ve had a big divide between techies fuzzies. Some data sci at FB have more power than nearly any editor in human history, but no training in why journalism is structured the way it is

In my experience, they have read more on the topic and have had more arguments and tried more than all professional journalists combined. It’s still very naive in obvious ways—I’ve been vocal about the lack of international sensitivity, in spite of detailed demographic knowledge.
