Is it just me, or does anyone else care a little less about the plight of rural America since they are destroying our country though their toxic support of Trump?
Even in the most republican districts its usually not more than 70% of votes cast that go to republicans. And the reverse is true as well, even in dem centers there are many trump supporters. Our electoral system just does a poor job representing people, in general.

The heartland grows LOTS of corn & soybeans, cycles much of that through factory farms for beef and pork. Beef, pork, and high fructose corn syrup are widely available at Walmart et al. It’s fresh fruit/vegetables that are are lacking. Maybe some bean/pork farmers switch?
Walmarts have plenty of fresh produce.
