Stunning new stat out of Ohio: We already knew that Republicans got 12 of OH's 16 US House seats despite winning only 52% of total congressional vote. But get this: Republicans also managed to hold supermajorities in the Ohio legislature despite LOSING the total state leg vote.

Let me append an important note: We can get fair(er) district maps in 2021. It will involve effort but we probably have a very real shot as a result of 2015 & 2018 reform measures.

A lot of people are seeing "Republicans have the majorities and statewide offices, they'll do whatever they want again." News flash: people who drafted reforms were not blind to this possibility. (Since it's Ohio's normal, that would've been a real big blind spot.)
