I remember it. She was told not to wear it again as it was unacceptable. It was covered heavily on the news and in the papers at the time. The reason it's white is because all players have to wear white attire at Wimbledon.

The #FrenchOpen doesn't prohibit leggings, doesn't require skirts, and skirts that aren't even long enough to cover your underwear are fine.
