does it get any stupider than a group of people whose main way of signaling their virtues to other members of their group is by calling out the virtue signaling of others? (maybe if their Twitter bios are filled with identity markers and they also call out identity politics?)

Sadly we weren’t partaking in ignoring the bar seating guidelines. We had our small kids with us so were at a table across from the bar. So no I’m not virtue signaling by pointing out others not caring. My advice would be stick to academia. Private sector would be tough for you.

Straight up psychopathic to think that people who wear masks and practice social distancing only do so BECAUSE THEY WANT TO LOOK "VIRTUOUS". "You better sneeze directly into a stranger's mouth if you wanna prove your commitment to non-virtue signalingness, dammit"
