I was told not to tweet this until the houses adjourned for fear of jinxing it, but the Minnesota legislature just completed what is probably the most productive session anywhere in the country since probably the New Deal. Sweeping bills and reforms across every area of life.

what troubles me about the recent drama re: the Eisner nomination of that book is that, putting aside the author’s trash behaviour, it’s apiece of the pattern of white gatekeepers lauding a “beautifully done” comic containing Orientalist content they somehow can’t recognise

I have walked through so many spider webs this month in the woods... I lost count. Today I picked up a pot to move it outside and realized it was covered in baby spiders so I just said "oops sorry" and put it back in the corner :'D
