The Iranians were sending the Tanker to Assad regime in Syria which conflict with the European sanctions, UK has legal right to stop it and investigate, but the Iranian are reacting against the international community system.

I don't get the point. Yeah, Iran has shown it can shut down the Strait. But then it's not Iran vs. US, but rather Iran vs. much of the rest of the world & the Revolutionary Guards own a lot of business that can be obliterated w/o civilian casualties.
