Bringing n the New Year’s can b enjoyed & fun. Each one of us must take the responsibility to make it safe. Keep all disputes home. Put the guns down, watch how much you drink. Remember you have a family who loves you. Let the New Year bring joy not pain. Who’s with me? One love

Some times we may think we are out of season and we feel alone. Then we look up and find that we are not alone and we receive help to carry on. We do not know what circumstances one is in. So do not be judgmental especially when you can lend a hand.

It is your choice who you let around you. You want people who support your growth not stifle it. It is also ok to need a hug just know the difference between a hug with love and a choke hold with a phony smile.

When you reach the stage where you are more focus on your life and less on someone else’s. Your creativity, growth, peace, love of self and other will have substance. You also will be able to live life.

It was a successful and one of my best Frompain2power workshops. Diversity and inclusion will not just be a buzz word for these employees. They Learned that we must understand differences so that our similarities have substance.

My decision to start cooking at home was a good one just have to be consistent. Even those it was late. I fixed butter milk biscuits stuffed with salmon, shrimp and cheese. Actually they were pretty good. I forgot to take a picture. Next meal.

Serving people is not a job it is a blessing. Over 55 years I have had many ups and downs. I have learned many lessons. I stand on many shoulders and have been honored to meet great people. I have also learned to respect people for who they are and where they are at.

I remember standing on stage after 9/11 with Governor Vilsack, a priest a rabbi and other dignitaries to talk about the attack of 9/11. Its sad we are still addressing terrorism nationally and domestically. We will continue until we are willing to deal with the root causes.

When your niece and muse decide to have a sleep over it is an adventure. Popcorn, candy, McDonald’s and face makeup. I want to thank Jada and Jamie Woods for their help. The future is hopeful. They already believe they know more then adults and in some areas they do.
