I've been known to get off the train one stop early like I did on Saturday to walk the extra distance. It gives you more time to think and notice as well as putting a little more healthy activity in to the day.

Shame most of our streets are uninspiring to walk along and explore. We’ve removed the fun and intrigue, plus there’s no infrastructure for rest, play or enjoyment. It’s grim.

Yep. Since living in the UK I've always lived walking distance to work. Maybe our relationship with cars is like Stockholm Syndrome?
