Very odd. It rotates like crazy for me as soon as I move focus, but my wife claims not to see any motion at all. Weird evolution at work.

Certainly does for me: it the rotsnake colour scheme, right? But the movement is continuous: in the red-purple one, it jumps in steps.

Interesting: the rotsnake (3x2 circles) one has some which rotate clockwise & others counter-clockwise (the circles are different).

That's helpful. But to be clear, in the 3x2 panel (colour or monochrome), the circles rotate CC, C, CC (top), & C, CC, C (bottom), right?
