Yes sligthly, although didn't mention about this - with weary eyes I wasn't sure whether it is the picture or my eyes...
I've now tried this, but the effect doesn't seem as powerful as in the original. For both, I think we see the blurred as farther back because we assume that there's a focus difference due to distance.pic.twitter.com/h5UYmRI3wy
This one is simpler but works a lot better. And, as @AkiyoshiKitaoka observed, the caption (or the background?) seems to move.pic.twitter.com/OOeaUaXIt8
