.@JeffBezos occupies a rare position to impose serious financial / reputational costs on individuals and firms who help the Saudis perform their skullduggery (i.e. reportedly NSO Group).
Drive up the costs for these amoral companies who will sell to anyone for a buck.
Another Q: who else in the United States regularly converses w MBS on WhatsApp? Someone in the White House, perhaps? In the President’s inner circle? A family member? Someone who had trouble getting a security clearance? Someone whose name rhymes w “Mared Mushner?”
It would be supremely ironic if the Saudis also hacked Jared Kushner’s phone using Israeli technology. Because why not?
Go after the people that run those companies instead of just the companies themselves. Companies come and go. Bankrupt them, and they'll just fold up shop and come back and a new company. Companies don't care about consequences, people do.
