    honestly. this is hilarious but also, everything. No matter what. Our world as poets is a humble one. I like it like that.

    What makes writing poetry so low stakes is that only a bunch of other weirdo poets will read it & if they hate it it’s like ok you wrote a persona poem about a seahorse last week buddy let’s not cast the first stone
