    23 years ago, from a refugee camp in Kenya, my father and I arrived at an airport in Washington DC. Today, we return to that same airport on the eve of my swearing in as the first Somali-American in Congress. 🙏🏾

    Returned to Tornillo & spoke with the CEO of the tent camp. He says he will no longer accept additional kids. That means by mid-January, Tornillo could shut down. We can't let up. We can't stop showing up. We will be back here again and again until the camp closes down for good.
