Because of the nature of the UKCTOCS study, long standing v new onset diabetes were not reliably separated although suspect latter is what’s driving the #PancreaticCancer link.
Also, CA19-9 - for all its warts - is still the biomarker de jour to beat in PRE-diagnostic samples.

Another paper on the appallingly low rates of “universal” germline testing in patients with #PancreaticCancer (which has been both & for a while now).
Only a third were tested, lower in minority patients.

The most promising early phase clinical trial data I have seen online from #GI23 is the aCTLA-4 / aPD-1 (colloquially Bot/Bol combo) in microsatellite STABLE #ColorectalCancer, with 23% ORR, durable responses. Substantial irAEs, as would be expected. Nonetheless…MSS!
