Lensathon is out!
KlayKoos is an AR tamagotchi that evolves based on the things you introduce it to so it can be nourished by the same things that nourish you! ๐ฃโ๏ธ

AI is the key to glasses form factor for AR
An AI model that believes it understands the world and believes it's rendering 3d geometry will require fewer sensors, compute, and cooling than one that actually does
Will be sending controllers via Twitter, Insta, & Discord over the next couple days for an AR Controller Event on ARKH to select winner. โจ
Supply is very limited but if you 100% want to participate then go get a controller now at http://ARKH.com
anyone building a device to do data transfer through the human body? i.e. if I touch an input with my hand the data can be received by a device on my body
we are closer to AI-constructed realities than we think. game dev will change a lot from hard-coded data structures to model based mimicry
big 2023 goal for my AR studio @smileycapgames is to explore using AI to enhance reality and convert it into gameplay (as pictured!)
Imagining sleeper computing table with jack at each seat for augmented dinner parties..
membership org that comes with AR glasses + AR event invites anyone? ๐ค
took me to finishing my entire game to realize if I added just a little displacement to the surface of the models it actually looks convincingly like clay
imagine wall murals that have a lil hdmi port next to them and you can view an entire 3D AR world on top of it with no need for an app, internet, battery life, anything like that, would be dope
excited for AI to enable a game's entire community to generate aesthetically-congruent assets for it so anyone can make new stories and games for their friends. Would definitely be a precursor to the future of reality itself where we'll all take part in shaping it..
my next snap AR game is a pet sim about raising cute creatures called klaykoos that absorb qualities about you so they can be nourished by the things that nourish you also
when you breath, your lungs tug on the entire sky
when you walk, your feet push against the entire earth
when you look out, your eyes touch the light of the entire universe
you are, the world
I hope 'soft tech' is the next wave! Low bandwidth, round and dimply like us ๐โโ๏ธ imagine AR glasses that would just feel good to have on your face
What if you could play a platformer by moving in real life? I made an AR game on Spectacles where I can control my Bitmoji by walking and jumping. Thought it might help me exercise a bit more... ๐โโ๏ธ๐คธโโ๏ธ๐#augmentedreality#spectacles#xr#ar
Art ๐จ & AI ๐ง
Using the new Outpainting capability of DALL-E 2, creator Orb Amsterdam asked OpenAI to help him imagine how the landscape could look like between famous impressionist paintings from Van Gogh, Monet, Munch and Hokusai.
this totally prefaces a trend I'm excited about for AR/VR where the fact that the interface is more advanced means we can do even dumber abstractions like put directions on an Indiana Jones treasure map or accept calls on a 90s corded wall phone or listen to spotify on a jukebox
