Imagine someone tweeted: "If a man marries a man we're supposed to call that a marriage, but if a man marries a horse, weren't not? Discuss." The "discuss" doesn't save you from the homophobic phrasing of your question, does it? The same goes for transphobic questions.pic.twitter.com/RbN5F2wuiJ

In the vid, it's said that Richard often poses "discussions" when he doesn't understand. 1. He shouldn't be struggling with the difference between Dolezal and millions of trans people. 2. The difference between a question in a conversation and on Twitter should be self-evident.

I am not very keen on the "Dolezal queston" and prefer to frame it as an issue between her and the NAACP. However, *the* expert on that story has published a response about this comparison years ago.https://www.facebook.com/groups/460812344093736/permalink/762150240626610/ …

This picture has been bringing me comfort as I've been hearing about D*wkins' attempts to beg the question for homophobia/transphobia.pic.twitter.com/vWQirfkxL7

Screen capture of a headline reading, "British scientists don't like Richard Dawkins, finds study that didn't even ask questions about Richard Dawkins." The investigation into science's public image didn't even ask about the atheist professor, but it got an answer anyway.

Tumblr discussion follows
User zvaigzdelasas says, "And the best headline of the year goes to..."

User cumaeansibyl says, "you guys I found the article and it's fantastic. they did in-depth interviews with 137 scientists and about 35% of them mentioned Dawkins unprompted, and about 80% of those were apparently just desperate to tell someone how much they hate him."

User vergess says, "28% of scientists hate Richard Dawkins so much that they just start spouting off about his bullshit umprompted."

I'm not sure about this as some of that will undoubtedly be driven by jealously of someone who has a public platform that his peers may not think is deserved, while some will be justified dislike of his positions on social issues.

It is a facade of someone appearing like they legitimately want to discuss to hear something that may or may not change their POV let alone the homophobic part of the first.
