It doesn’t tell you to do those things, just to not do them yourself. Your prejudice shows on your sleeve
But I would suggest against trying to reform a religion you have little understanding of and it seems you have a hard time separating OT/NT and Judaism/Christianity. Not a lot understand the subtleties but I’d hardly say it’s “obvious” that the Ten Commandments are outdated.

Particularly how Jesus “updated” Judaism particularly with reference to stonings & dietary restrictions, which are separate from the Ten Commandments/Mosaic Law. I agree that religions need “updating” but it’s not at all obvious what will happen if we change things we don’t get

I'm not interested in reforming a religion. I'm interested in developing a culture where we openly critique faith-based knowledge. If we want to progress as a species, we need a better epistemology.
