But I would suggest against trying to reform a religion you have little understanding of and it seems you have a hard time separating OT/NT and Judaism/Christianity. Not a lot understand the subtleties but I’d hardly say it’s “obvious” that the Ten Commandments are outdated.

Particularly how Jesus “updated” Judaism particularly with reference to stonings & dietary restrictions, which are separate from the Ten Commandments/Mosaic Law. I agree that religions need “updating” but it’s not at all obvious what will happen if we change things we don’t get

The bible is unintelligent. It contains nothing that we would not expect to get from someone from that time period. Something written by an omniscient creator of the universe could have mathematical insight that we are still working to unpack. Instead, we get iron age morality.
