Actually fairly sure that’s what he means, especially given his views on Pharisees and violence, and especially given Paul saying people can eat meats etc

Part of why the commandments and bible are "antiquated" are their lack of clarity and the contradictions in the text. The bible is self-contradictory and contradictory to the far clearer moral imperatives and instructions we have access to today.

Again, mistaking the unintelligible for he unintelligent. It seems like what you’re really saying is you don’t like a book telling you what to do you’d rather select the books you want to listen to yourself and that’s fine, that’s why there is freedom of religion.

But I would suggest against trying to reform a religion you have little understanding of and it seems you have a hard time separating OT/NT and Judaism/Christianity. Not a lot understand the subtleties but I’d hardly say it’s “obvious” that the Ten Commandments are outdated.

Particularly how Jesus “updated” Judaism particularly with reference to stonings & dietary restrictions, which are separate from the Ten Commandments/Mosaic Law. I agree that religions need “updating” but it’s not at all obvious what will happen if we change things we don’t get
