Not sure about his barber but mine is selling every time he can get a meaningful amount in usd. Don't forget that crypto idealism is almost unknown outside twitter. People look for easy gains and sell for usd.

Depends in your definition of success. Like I said, people use it today and like you said - out of self-interest. They gain usd and get rid of it. For now hodlers are a minority idealists.

Read the rest of that thread. Hodlers aren't the reason Bitcoin wins. Hodlers win because they recognize Bitcoin wins in the long run regardless of anyone, because it is better harder money.
