How to choose picture books that will empower…http://bit.ly/2kOKOtM
Read my other comment. Or some other books. Brothers Grimm is a good one. Don’t mistake the unintelligible for the unintelligent. Kids need protected from wicked witches, your ignorance portrays your lack of skin in the game. #SpeakingAsAChild

I like the Brothers Grimm. Don’t like witches. What am I ignorant of? I didn’t write the article.
-
I mean the article appears to talk negatively of specifically Brothers G. These things have survived because kids survived where these where read, protecting them from the actual danger of “witches” (read untrustworthy adults) who attempt to lure children with sweets.
-
They portray adults as imperfect to protect the child
-
Bit like Roald Dahl. Many of his adults are awful!
-
Havnt read them in a while, but it reminds me of Anderson’s “Fantastic Mr. Fox” where the Dad is a bit of an asshole to the kids.
