If god were writing today, "Thou shalt not enrich uranium" would be the top commandment. That's as much about civilian fission power as it is weapons. Uranium firm lobbied Trump administration to scale back Bears Ears National Monument https://thinkprogress.org/uranium-bears-ears-lobby-b2f75562d58a/ … via @thinkprogress

Isn’t that contained within “Thou Shalt Not Kill” or “Resist not Evil with Force”? Redundant

Absolutely not redundant. Civilian fission power is not intended to kill.

But what would these arguments be if one was to assume that without nuclear power we will either fry our planet or won’t have enough power to feed the people in the existing system, within cities for example. No there yet by depends on the direction we go in that argument

“Power to feed the people”- can you unpack that?

For example, if one thinks we should ban ICE or Diesel trucks for example, because of warming fears, we won’t be able to feed people in cities, who rely on imported food. Impossible to grow corn at scale within NYC limits.
