I love it when these anonymous armchair philosphers lay claim to Zen mind in their bio and then proceed to advocate mentalities and practices that objectively perpetuate attachment and suffering. the dharma and violence are fundamentally incompatible.https://twitter.com/MimeticValue/status/1022863488513916930 …

Not anonymous and you’re just virtue signaling without understanding the anthropology of violence. Also, Buddha was a warrior-king and Zen was the practice of the samurai. Zen is sharp, not namby pamby. You’re a fraud.

You’re attached to a safety net of naive interpretation of nonviolence without understanding the nature of mimetic violence. “I came not to bring peace, but a sword.” - Matthew 10:34

It’s a hard one.. “If a thief breaks through to steal & is struck so that he dies, there shall be no blood guilt.” Vs “Resist not evil with force.” Remove yourself as much as possible from cycles, but one should protect his family to some extent. You’ve a duty to provide.

You got it bro.
This is true compassion. These who remain weak simply virtue signal compassion but don't actually practice it. If you can't even protect your own family, all the talk about changing the world is worthless.
