I think that's not controversial. The sutric Buddhist solution is to dissolve that desire into emptiness. The Nietzschean and tantric solutions are to feel and observe the desire with amor fati. I still haven't figured out what's the best path yet (different path for diff people)

I think Christian idea is not far off, they’re are linguistic differences, Jesus “empties himself” to be filled with “the Father”. It is very preoccupied with justice though and I don’t find that in other sources. Nietzschean ideas are sort of Super Protestant
