NFTs are an emerging technology, which can be a messy process. I know it seems like a grift powered by VCs and Tech Bros, but it's just an effort at making a digital good tangible, and non-duplicative.
I worry about this kind of emotional reaction. I wish you well. 🙏

NFTs existed before blockchains. You're confusing blockchain technology with NFTs (which is an asset class).
Things that are "tangible" NFTs:
* Real-estate & deeds
* Birth/death certificates
* Cars
* Fire arms
* Stocks and bonds
* Anything with a serial number
* You & your DNA

I don'tvcare about NFTS but can someone explain how a picture on the Internet is not environmentally friendly? Is an NFT literally not just a picture or am I missing something

So what if NFT's were on a Proof of Stake blockchain?
That's your first and most virtue-signalling argument dismissed.
Need I continue?
So I guess that means they won't interact with anyone who owns a birth certificate or social insurance number? You know.... Government issued NFTs that basic humans are legally required to have?
Or do you just mean the optional NFTs like driver's licenses and real-estate? 🤦♂️🙄
