It's only a screen improvement, right? I play 99% docked anyway so I don't need a new one

Slightly wider screen (but not like a 3DS XL), but the TV dock comes with a built-in LAN adapter so you don't have to get a separate one. That one was what got me.

Yeah basically with a few other little changes like a built in lan port, new stand and 64 Gb storage instead of 32.
