First, as a wood table that thing looks awesome. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit the theme of the rest of the artwork… Stylise it a bit, make it cartoony! Heck, make it look like a very cartoony strip of bacon. ;)

I like that its sticking out from the rest of the art, it's a little absurd or surreal and I dig it.
