I love your ingame visuals and I gotta say this surprised me by being a bit classic I guess? it's good drawing but compared to the rest, it looks less original (prettier? friendlier?). I don't feel the same spirit... sorry, but since you expressed doubts, I thought I'd shared...

I hope that didn't come out bad. you're doing great work there and I'm sure that the game's gonna be awesome. I just love your main character goofy design ! but you must go for what you feel is best. I get the low poly / detailed 2D dialogue portraits and that's cool too. peace
